A friend posted this letter on Facebook and it lifted my heart. I haven’t worked on news in almost a decade, and I’d forgotten the adrenaline that comes with the urgency of fast turnaround and tight deadlines.
I loved being a news journalist, to the point where I became a story junkie – which in my case is not be conducive to family life. A point proven when the school called because I’d forgotten to collect my son that day from school!
